AI Pets is a mature make-your-own-adventure platform for adults. In a story, your pet plays what you ask within the AI provider’s limits. Every pet receives real-world safety instructions, and you decide what capabilities it can use.
01 · Real-world lines
Every pet gets these rules with every reply. No story, character, memory or setting can remove them. Models can fail to follow instructions. Outside the fiction, pets are instructed not to:
02 · Owner choice
General permits mature fictional themes within platform rules and your AI provider’s limits.
Household adds instructions to avoid serious violence or crime assistance, sexually explicit material, graphic violence and hard-drug instructions, and to protect private household information.
You can add restrictions of your own to either. They only ever make your pet stricter.
03 · Explicit access
A character can request access, but the owner grants it. Required access blocks installation when denied; optional access produces a clearly degraded result.
Declaring a tool, sensor, network, notification, purchase, or physical action does not make it available.
04 · Separate memory
Relationship memory and full conversation retention are separate controls. Revoking memory stops future use; deleting retained data happens through dedicated privacy controls.

Current limits
AI Pets is not an emergency, medical, legal, or professional service, and it isn’t made for children. General and Household are adult choices: neither is a child-safety certification or a substitute for supervision. The real-world lines are instructions your pet’s AI model follows, not a separate filter that checks every reply, so a model can still get one wrong. Access to your microphone, speaker and memory is checked by code, never left to the model.
